Our goal is to ensure that documentation from each subsystem meets University Nanosatellite Program (UNP) standards for satellite reviews.

Quality Assurance works behind the scenes at the University of Minnesota SSRL to analyze and review documents sent our way. We look to see if the procedures and results written are clear. If they don't make sense, we question it. We comment on issues we run into and report them to the appropriate team.

The great thing about Quality Assurance is that it's beginner-friendly! Familiarity with the kind of technical writing found in lab reports helps, but no prior experience is necessary. Undergraduate researchers learn to inspect and evaluate technical documents.
